Student Prerequisites

Minimum age: 6 years old

Swim Skills: SSI Beginner II or equivalent (40 ft independent swim with stroke of choice)
Mermaid

Build your skills as both a mermaid and a freediver. This course blends mermaid technique with freediving fundamentals to unlock your underwater potential.

Fitness Evaluation: Complete the Mermaid Water Fitness Evaluation

Swim Assessment:

Swim 55 yards unaided or 110 yards with mask, snorkel, and fins

No time limit; must be continuous without stopping or standing

Float or tread water for 5 minutes (face must remain clear of the water)

Ocean Mermaid

Take your mermaid journey into open water. Learn to handle currents, waves, and marine life while swimming confidently in natural environments.
